Mark Runyan, DDS
I was born and raised in Grand Forks, ND. I earned a Bachelors of Arts degree in biology at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN where I graduated with honors. While at Concordia, I met my Cobber sweetheart and wife, Courtney. I graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 2015. In dental school, I was recognized for my technical skills as well as professionalism and excellence in patient care, and was humbled to be the recipient of the Park Dental award for "providing quality care in a caring manner."
Following graduation, I completed a year-long study in dental implant restoration and surgical placement through the American Academy of Implant Dentistry. One of my favorite procedures is utilizing a fully digital workflow for a guided implant placement to ensure a safe and predictable outcome.
When I'm not seeing patients, I love spending time with my wife and two children, Brecken and Brynlee. I also enjoy woodworking, exercising, singing, and spending time outdoors hunting with my dog Koda. I'm very passionate about dentistry and am committed to putting nervous patients at ease while providing high-quality dentistry.

Carolyn Disse, DDS
Dr. Carolyn Disse was raised in Detroit Lakes, MN in a large family on a resort that has been in her family for five generations. Carolyn graduated from the University of Minnesota Duluth with a Bachelors of Science degree in biology. She then attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and graduated in 2017. Carolyn married her high school sweetheart, Max, who is also in healthcare and together they moved to Hershey, PA after dental school for Max to complete his residency in dermatology.
They now have three children and are thrilled to be raising their young family back in Minnesota. Carolyn is so happy to be a part of the caring and compassionate team at White Oak Dental. She strives to provide each patient with a comfortable appointment and to help educate them on their oral health.
Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family and seeing the joy of life through the eyes of her kids. Personally she loves all things outdoors cross country skiing, biking, hiking, and pickleball!
